Five weeks since its release, the thought-provoking movie “Inception” is still trending on Twitter. The movie’s success may be credited to the actors and visual effects, but I think that Inception’s popularity really comes down to its fascinating theme…dreams. On a physiological level, dreams have been described as a response to neural processes when you sleep, while some people believe that they are reflections of the subconscious. There are however many definitions to describe the act of dreaming with many further theories on why they occur and even the ‘apparent’ interpretation behind them. One thing is for sure – dreams occur when you sleep…the natural daily process when your body rests and recovers. It’s also essential for good health and wellbeing.
