* Do they bear an after-school occupation? If so, do they arrive on time for their shift or are they constantly tardy?
* Are they willing to learn about the care and maintenance of automobiles? Knowing at least the basics will guarantee they can fill their own gasoline tanks, check the oil, washer fluid, and additional fluids in the automobile. They also need to learn how to switch a tire. If they are not prepared to learn the basics of automobile maintenance, perhaps they are not trustworthy enough for an automobile.
Your teenager needs to understand how serious having a car is. If you were to get them an automobile, you’d not continue to pay all expenses. Discuss different costs associated with driving an automobile.
