This, according to a new study on Tocotrienols a less well known but important form of Vitamin E. It is still quite an uncommon ingredient in Supplements although we have been using it in Total Balance for a number of years. If complements nicely the natural form of Vitamin E that we use and improves its efficacy.
I am surprised that it has been taking so long for other manufacturers to incorporate it in their formulas. Maybe it is due to cost, as it is not cheap.
Anyway, this study specifically looked at the impact of Tocotrienols on DNA damage! They found that it had a significant beneficial impact on not only reducing the DNA damage but also helped in the repair of the DNA.
We should all do what we can to not only minimize the damage to our DNA but to also systematically repair it. This is one of the important objectives with Total Balance.
