Now is the time, for us all to stand as one,and realize this world is ours to change.
There’s no one else who, can save us from ourselves,
cant you see, that love’s the only way?Just look around, and surely you will see,
so many lives, that need a helping hand.
I need you now to, come along with me,
& together, begin to heal our lands.
This is the time, this is the season,
to come together in love.
Where are you? What could be your reason,
can’t you see, you’re part of everyone?
Sometimes at night, I hear the children wracked with pain,
And my heart, it breaks, with a heavy sigh.
But I know that, if I can make that change,
this world’s darkness, can ease with morning’s light.
Stand up my brothers, if not you & me then who?
together stand, let’s work to heal our world,
Stand up my sisters, ’cause it is what we choose,
that will lead us, through love’s open door.
This is our time, this is our season,
to come together in love.
