If you think that your child might not be growing properly or is experiencing weight loss then you should definitely speak with your doctor about it.
There is always talk about ‘three square meals a day’ but you should keep in mind that no matter who the person there are always good days and bad days for eating. Some days your child might not use as much energy and not require as much nutrition or they might not be feeling very good. Try to look at it on a weekly basis rather than daily. If they seem to be getting good nutrition each week then everything should be fine.
